Product & Quality

Yes, we use 100% natural ingredients sourced directly from local Ethiopian farms to bring you premium spice products.

While we offer over 30 different high-quality natural spices, our signature products currently include Berbere, Mitmita, Miten Shiro, Mekelesha, pure Turmeric (Erd), and Blended Turmeric.

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility operates strictly under internationally recognized HACCP food safety standards. We have an advanced quality assurance laboratory where every product batch is rigorously tested for quality, consistency, and food safety before it reaches the market.

Availability & Shipping

We offer convenient small packs for everyday consumers, family packs, as well as commercial packages for hotels and businesses. All our packaging is designed to resist moisture, maintain maximum freshness, and extend shelf life.

Our spices are produced in our massive, ultra-modern factory located in Debre Birhan, Ethiopia, which spans over 7,000 square meters.

Yes! In our first phase of global expansion, Hewan Spice has established markets in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Saudi Arabia, Germany, Australia, and Israel.

Partnerships & Wholesale

Absolutely. We actively seek strategic retail partnerships. We guarantee an uninterrupted product supply, attractive profit margins, and a comprehensive product replacement policy for any damaged goods.

We heavily invest in our partners’ success by providing free, custom-measured “Hewan Shelves,” professional brand displays, in-store product tasting and demonstrations, and massive nationwide advertising campaigns (including TV, radio, and social media) to drive customer traffic to your store.

Company & Social Impact

Our brand is built on a rich family legacy of resilience. It was inspired by the Managing Director’s mother, Elfnesh Moges, who supported her family by grinding spices using a traditional stone mill. Today, we have transformed that traditional heritage into a world-class manufacturing industry, guided by our motto: “From Stone Grinder to Global Shelf”.

Yes, community growth is at the core of our business. Through our fully funded humanitarian wing, the Hewan Foundation, we support a children’s care center in Debre Birhan, run a monthly community feeding program for 100 vulnerable individuals, provide free education and scholarships for youth, and have built a dedicated youth center to foster skills and creativity.
